**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop process and strategies for review and renewal of course materials during the content migration process
- Support faculty and staff in the review and development of accessible content and curriculum for courses
- Collaborate with the LMS Transition Project Director and other project staff to facilitate training and support for NAIT faculty and staff regarding UDL and accessibility initiatives
- Identify and request resources to support the initiatives
- Collaborate with NAIT faculty and staff in improving universal access in the areas of:

- Consultation in best practices for accessibility
- Leveraging appropriate educational technologies
- Policy consultation, research, and implementation
- Ensuring materials developed align with UDL principles and NAIT standards
- Working with colleagues to ensure quality and consistency is being maintained
- Building course content developed into the LMS

**Skills & Abilities**:

- Significant knowledge of instructional design and technologies, curriculum and course development methods and research; and pedagogical and delivery practices in online/blended teaching and learning
- Knowledge of educational technologies, including LMS
- Project management and technical skills
- Ability to identify UDL and accessibility issues in instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts and suggest solutions

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary diploma in instructional design or related education.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in supporting adult learning and/or instructional design OR equivalent combination of formal education and experience.
- Experience building & supporting courses in an LMS.
- Experience working in a post-secondary environment is an asset.

**Remuneration**:$2,089.37 - $2,748.00 biweekly, plus a comprehensive benefits package. (Classification - Advisor/Specialist I).
- This position is covered by the AUPE (Alberta Union of Provincial Employees) Collective Agreement._
