Bayview Flowers is hiring an HR Coordinator & Recruiter to make an impact on our team
Bayview Flowers is a greenhouse operation growing and distributing potted plants and cut flowers to customers in Canada and the US.
- Assisting with onboarding/orientation
- Provide HR support to seasonal Agricultural Worker Program (SAWP)
- Support the Human Resources Department to ensure the Company is in compliance with Health and Safety regulations by: attending and participating in Joint Health and Safety Committee meetings (i.e. recording minutes); tracking injuries; data analysis; assisting with workplace accident investigations and creating/offering modified duties to injured associates to ensure a timely return to work.
- Build relationships with operational managers and team members.
- Assist the Human Resources team with specialized projects and corporate events.
- Other duties as assigned, including HR projects and functions.

**What you'll bring**
- Must be enrolled in a post-secondary program in a related field and be able to work from May 2023 - August 2023.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly detail-oriented
- Adept at coaching people leaders and employees
- Team player
- The ability to speak and/or write Spanish would be an asset
- Thrives on working in a fast-paced environment.
- Learning and growth mindset, including understanding trends and continuously seeking to improve yourself and the experience for employees

**Qualifications**:

- Enrolled or graduate of an HR program (Co-op would be an asset)
- Working toward the completion of a Bachelor's degree, preferably with a specialization in Human Resources and/or College diploma from a recognized Human Resources Management program
- Extremely detail oriented.
- Thrives on working in a fast-paced environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal, Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 5 months

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Jordan Station, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
