**About the Role**:
AppLovin’s **Creative Team** is a diverse and talented group of storytellers and problem solvers who are strategic partners for initiatives across the brands in our portfolio. We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced **Copywriter** to help develop and elevate each brand’s voice to connect and resonate with their target audience. You will create compelling, audience-focused brand communication across a wide range of channels and touchpoints, including digital ads, social media, events, video scripts, and more.

The Copywriter will play a pivotal role in how we share our story, and how we connect with our global audience. This position will serve as a critical member of the Creative Team where we each bring something different to the table. You will be guided and supported by our VP of Brand and Creative, along with our brand Art Directors, Director of Brand Experience, and a team of multidisciplinary creatives to help you navigate projects across our larger cross-functional marketing teams. Together we are thoughtful about our work and move at a swift cadence to support business initiatives that help drive our brands to the top.

**Basic qualifications**:

- A copywriting portfolio that highlights your talent and expertise for copywriting and creative ideas. We’d like to see examples that showcase your work across various brand voices, campaigns, and channels.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising/Marketing, Communications, Writing or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 4-7 years of experience working as a copywriter for agencies or in-house marketing.
- Good working knowledge of Google Workspace and digital writing tools.
- Proven experience with an audience-first approach to writing in a B2B environment
- Passionate about social media platforms with a strong understanding of current trends, ad/content formats, and copy best practices
- Experience with video scriptwriting, from storyboards to voiceovers for motion and/or live talent.
- Knowledgeable on what type of copy performs well across different channels and media.
- Comfortable using and recommending AI tools to support brainstorming, copywriting, and optimization.
- Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and work within deadlines with limited supervision.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple timezones, particularly PST, EST, and GMT+8.
- Comfortable working in an environment that prioritizes speed and iteration.
- Great team communication skills—working with all leadership levels, including creative and non-creative thinkers.
- Ability to take initiative, think independently, and bring recommendations to the team on process, workflows, and tools.
- Comfortable with working to the requirements of a brand and content guidelines.

**Responsibilities**:

- Attend and participate in reviewing briefs, project kickoffs, and brainstorming.
- Analyze audience insights, market trends, and competitive landscape to inform copy and communication approaches.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, design, development, and product to align copy with overall business objectives across—and often in partnership with—multiple brands.
- Write and edit to fit various formats, templates, design systems, and platforms, for both digital and printed media.
- Utilize digital tools, including Google Docs, Figma, Canva, and InDesign/InCopy to write, edit, and proofread.
- Ensure consistency in tone, style, and messaging across all deliverables and distribution channels for each brand.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and adjust to shifting priorities.
- Utilize Asana as the primary tool for internal communication, status updates, delivery of files, and project management.
- Present in written or verbal form to stakeholders and partners. We love using Loom
