**What you will be doing**:

- Artisan Bread
- Following existing recipes and processes to scale and shape loaves, scoring loaves as well as proofing and baking loaves.
- Overseeing and assisting with the sorting of products for delivery
- Preparing mis en place for the team such as soaking and cooking grains, chopping nuts and other add Ins.
- Putting away, labeling and storing goods raw goods and doughs correctly, ensuring proper date rotation
- Other duties as required including but not limited to;
- Handling machinery including but not limited to ovens, proofing equipment, dough rounders and dough dividers
- Following all food handling protocols as set by the kitchen and the board of health.
- Cleaning and sanitizing all work surfaces
- Cleaning and maintaining all shared equipment, this includes daily tasks, weekly tasks and periodic tasks to ensure the proper functioning of all equipment

- Organized and able to work quickly
- Pay close attention to detail and are able to work neatly
- Can work independently, but not afraid to ask for help.
- ** One year of commercial kitchen experience**:

- Interest/knowledge in organics/farming local food an asset
- You LOVE food and have a PASSION for Bread.

**Things you should know**:

- Full time (37.5 hours per week), including weekends (one weekend day is a must).
