**Summary**

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the health care centre, ensuring efficient and culturally safe service delivery that aligns with our values and community needs. This role involves managing facilities, IT, administration, and service delivery processes while supporting the Finance and HR departments and working closely with program managers to ensure operational excellence for our clients and centre.

**Job Duties**

**1. Operational Leadership**:

- Oversee daily operations to ensure effective and efficient service delivery across the centre
- Develop, implement, and monitor operational policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with Anishinaabe values and cultural safety
- Collaborate with the Executive Director and senior management team on strategic planning and implementation of initiatives

**2. Facilities and Administration Management**:

- Oversee facility management, including maintenance, repairs, security, and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff
- Manage administrative functions, including office management, supply chain, and procurement processes
- Coordinate IT systems and infrastructure to support service delivery and ensure data integrity and security

**3. Support for HR and Finance Departments**:

- Work closely with the offsite Human Resources and Finance managers to ensure smooth day-to-day operational success in their respective areas
- Provide in-person employee support, addressing staff concerns, facilitating communication, and assisting with HR-related processes such as onboarding and training
- Assist the Finance Manager with on-site financial activities ensuring documentation is complete and accurate
- Serve as the on-site liaison to ensure timely and effective communication between the on-site team and offsite HR and Finance managers

**4. Collaboration with Program Managers**:

- Work closely with on-site program managers to ensure operational excellence and seamless service delivery for clients
- Support program managers in optimizing workflows, resource allocation, and program delivery processes
- Facilitate communication and coordination between different programs to enhance collaboration and efficiency

**5. Quality Improvement and Compliance**:

- Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery, client satisfaction, and operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with health regulations, privacy laws, accreditation standards, and organizational policies
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare operational reports for the Executive Director and Board of Directors

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in health administration, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in a health care or community services setting
- Strong understanding of Anishinaabe health issues, cultural safety, and traditional knowledge integration in health care
- Proven experience in facilities management, administration, and service delivery coordination
- Familiarity with Human Resources and financial processes, with the ability to support and collaborate effectively with offsite managers
- Experience working closely with program managers to ensure operational excellence
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse and community-oriented environment
