**The Opportunity**
triOS College Business Technology Healthcare Inc., is actively seeking a **Faculty/Employee Trainer and Digital Content Support Specialist **to join our People & Culture team.
**Major Purpose and Objective of the Position**:
The Faculty/Employee Trainer and Digital Content Support Specialist (the Trainer) is responsible for developing, delivering, and maintaining an active and relevant on-boarding training plan for all new employees related to the Colleges’ technological platforms and instructional digital resources, and ensuring all staff are provided on-going technological training support. The Trainer enhances employee knowledge and adoption of digital resources in support of teaching, learning and operational excellence.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Act as a partner with the People & Culture team in the coordination and delivery of technological training as part of the on-boarding process for all new faculty and employees.
- Engage with and support Talent Acquisition Specialists, Campus Directors & Faculty Heads in the on-boarding process for all new faculty and employees.
- Provide on-boarding training to Faculty through the provision of seminars, videos, guides, 1:1 training, and on-line documentation in the use of, but not limited to, XCAS, Brightspace, MS Teams, MindTap, AME Learning, and Publish Electronic Resources.
- Provide and on-boarding walkthrough of XCAS and MS Teams training to all employees; provide on-boarding training on ADP to all hourly employees; and provide on-boarding training on CCP1, CCP2, or career management courses with Employment Specialists.
- Provide training in Brightspace to employees when required.
- Provide on-boarding training to Faculty and Employees for Student on-boarding to enhance student adoption and use of digital learning resources.
- Support the Program Manager in the provision of employee training for the technological delivery requirements for new program offerings at the College.
- Provide recommendations to the Head of People & Culture, and any associated stakeholders in the College, related to training requirements identified through the Program Review process.
- Develop and deliver professional development seminars and training opportunities for Faculty and Employees based on research, best practices in andragogy and adult learning, program and course surveys, and feedback from program reviews, PAC meetings and the Instructor Advisory Committee (IAC).
- Light teaching duties to remain connected to current classroom issues and be seen as a faculty peer.
- Provide on-going support to Faculty through the provision of seminars, videos, guides, telephonic contact and/or on-line documentation in the use of, but not limited to, XCAS, Brightspace, MS Teams, MindTap, AME, Publish Electronic Resources, and all other relevant instructional digital resources with the aim of enhancing Faculty knowledge.
- Provide on-going support to Students through the provision of seminars, videos, guides and/or on-line documentation in the use of Brightspace, MS Teams, MindTap, AME, and, Publish Electronic Resources.
- Build and maintain step-by-step on-line guides, video training guides and documents for the platforms, software and systems at the College used by Faculty and Students.
- Build and maintain a record of employees who have engaged in initial on-boarding, on-going training, and in-house professional development.
Other duties as assigned, and which are in the best interests of the College.
**Experience & Requirements**:
- University degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Communications, Information Technology, Organizational Strategies, or equivalent.
- Understanding of andragogy and the adult learner.
- Experience as a triOS/Eastern faculty member is preferred.
- Experience delivering training programs or educational content to adult learners.
- Experience in delivering educational content in a digital environment.
- Experience with LMS Platforms is required. Experience working with Brightspace is considered an asset.

The start for the position is **immediate.**
**Location**:
This position will be a **hybrid** role of working on-site at our Mississauga Campus Support Centre and from your home office.
