**Mosaic Transit Constructors (Mosaic) - a consortium comprised of Aecon, Dragados, and Dufferin - is**

**partnering with Metrolinx and Infrastructure Ontario to design, build and maintain the transformative**

**Finch West Light Rail Transit (LRT) system in the City of Toronto.**

**Position**:Construction Coop
**Reports to**: Construction Manager
**Role Location**:Toronto, ON**
**Essential Functions**:

- Ensure compliance with the standards of construction designs, plans and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with the budget of project.
- Prepare work breakdown structures, quantity takeoffs, and requests for quotes.
- Participate in preliminary and final cost estimates.
- Assist the project manager and construction team when help is needed.
- Preparing all the reports, sketches (related with the scope of work) needed to fulfill the

requirements of the contract or according to the Ontario standards.
- Tracking of progress billing, cost reports, inventory and quantity tracking.
- Time sheet for T&M works and deliveries
- Perform all other related tasks that will help complete the project

**Qualifications**:
**Required**
- Currently enrolled in Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or other equivalent training.
- Experience with heavy civil works and asset
- Experience in structural engineering asset
- Good initiative, attention to details
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent MS Excel and MS Word skills, Autocad

**Working Conditions/ Physical Effort**:

- Able to perform in a fast-paced environment.
- Prolonged sedentary positioning.
- Walking, lifting, equipment operation, etc.
- Moderate physical activities
- Ability to use stairs, ladders and climb over rough terrain.
- Primary work location is the Project site for Mosaic Transit Group.
