**Quality Manager Job Description**
**Summary**
The Quality Coordinator is responsible for overall development, implementation, maintenance and continual improvement of the Organizations Quality Management System (QMS)
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- Ensure that the QMS conforms to customer, internal ISO9001, QAR/QAN and regulatory legal requirements
- Ensure evaluation of, and reporting of vendor and supplier quality systems
- Manage the monitoring, measurement, and review of internal processes, especially those that affect the quality of the organization’s products
- Work with customers, employees and management to ensure conformity to QMS standards and customer satisfaction
- Report to top management - review meetings
- Oversee product recalls and address non conformities in product, service and internal processes
- Responsible for accuracy and timely inspection/calibration of monitoring and measuring devices
- Keep up on standards, regulations, issues and news with respect to product and service quality
- Ensure continual improvement of the QMS
- Some travel will be required

**Qualifications**
- Prior experience with ISO 9001 implementation
- Knowledge of QAR/QAN an asset
- Proficient with Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Visio)
- 2 years supervisory experience
- Sound knowledge of quality assurance practices, tools and techniques
- Strong organizational skills
- Effective decision making capabilities
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills
- Innovative problem solving skills
- Engineering/technical knowledge will be an strong asset **Organizational Relationships**

Quality Coordinator reports directly to the Managing director, Works in conjunction with Procurement, Production, Engineering, Accounting and Customer Support to ensure the quality of products and processes.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
