**What will you be doing as the Development and Partnerships Coordinator?**

You are a high-energy multi-tasker with dynamic leadership ability who builds coalitions and partnerships.

Reporting to the Director of Development & Government Relations, as a representative of 2SLGBTQI+ folk, you perform an essential role in representing Pride Toronto with businesses and organizations that align with Pride Toronto value and mission. You will spearhead our relationships and generate new participants in our Parade, StreetFair and introduce us to potential sponsors.

You are an energetic individual with initiative, imagination, strong organizational, strategic and interpersonal skills, and have experience and demonstrated success in working with the 2SLGBTQI+ community or related audiences. This position's success should ultimately result in a deeper engagement with the community and their commitment to our mission and values.

**Other responsibilities include**:

- In collaboration with the Director of Development and other staff, establish goals and objectives
- Liaise with businesses, organizations and appropriate staff to ensure all goals and objectives are met
- Collect all necessary information required from internal departments
- Create solicitation and outreach materials
- Lead Pride Toronto’s solicitation of new partnerships such as consultations/gatherings, recruitment booth, Festival weekend participation and other initiatives geared towards best practices
- Oversee all administration including, but not limited to, building the registration platform, managing registrations, submitting invoice requests and tracking payments
- Identify In-Kind revenue and assets from businesses and organizations when possible
- Establish, develop and maintain partnerships and meaningful relationships with related businesses and organizations on behalf of Pride Toronto
- Represent Pride Toronto at coalition business/organization meetings and public events to provide Pride Toronto’s resources and materials
- Aid in the development of new assets on the festival footprint that would be of interest and value to businesses and organizations
- Working with the Operations Manager, overseeing Pride Parade participation and StreetFair vendor logistics
- Provide onsite support to businesses and organizations at Parade and StreetFair during the Pride Toronto festival

**What are we looking for?**

Qualifications and skills required of the role include:

- Two (2) years relevant experience including facilitation, event coordination or related experience
- 2 year post secondary diploma
- Project management knowledge
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong knowledge of the 2SLGBTQI+ community
- Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining cross-department program/service delivery team
- Experience in the planning, development, and implementation of events
- Ability to multitask effectively and meet competing deadlines for internal and external partners using a customer-centric approach
- Two (2) years in an administrative background who is highly organized

**Nice to haves**:*
- Bilingualism (French) preferred but not required
- Previous nonprofit experience
- G-Class Drivers License
