**Description**

Provides support to the Sales team, ensure all follow-up for groups including lodging, meeting space, catering, special events as well as corporate agreements according to sales & marketing strategy and objectives.

**YOUR ROLE**
- Provide support to our regional business travel seller during RFP season
- Coordinating for events only in our meeting spaces
- Coordinating meetings in our spaces with guest rooms
- Coordinating private and semiprivate events in our restaurant
- Follow up with the client for the billing process to ensure deposits is received and the final bill is paid within 14 days after the group’s departure.
- Prepare and update group resumes and BEO’s for groups. Be the liaison between the operations and sales team and keep everyone informed on all happenings.
- Manage and upkeep the Opera profiles for VIP clients, travel agents and companies with the collaboration of the sales management team.
- Administrative support to the Sales team; word processing, proposals, prepare contracts, corporate rate agreements, banquet event orders, filing, etc.
- Answer and action all general inquiry calls directed to the sales team.
- Assists and supports the sales team with any initiatives required to ensure the ongoing success of the hotel. Assists the sales team in the set up and preparation for any sales events (trade shows, presentations, sales blitzes, etc.)
- You are responsible for leading the weekly BEO (Banquet Event Order) meetings.

**YOUR PROFILE**
- College or University degree preferred
- 2 years of experience in a similar position
- Experience in organizing catering events also considered an asset
- Able to organize, plan ahead and manage workload
- Knowledge of the hotel industry and the hotel boutique concept
- Excellent computer knowledge - Microsoft office and Opera cloud an asset
