- What you'll be doing
- **INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT) GENERALIST JOB**:
**Reporting Structure**:

- Report to the IT Manager for direction, guidance, advice and support to facilitate a seamless knowledge transfer
- Meet from time to time with the GGA Partner who oversees GGA IT
- Work collaboratively with the IT support team and GGA Leadership Team

**User Support**:

- Support the IT needs of GGA’s core business units
- Support the IT needs of the HR accounting and administration support teams
- Ensure GGA help desk tickets are resolved in a timely manner
- Develop and maintain helpdesk policies, procedures and documentation
- Provide desk side support for escalated issues that cannot be resolved by the user
- Lead and participate in special projects related to helpdesk operations and technical support

**Physical Infrastructure and Hardware Support**:

- Lead and participate in special projects related to office wide improvements including scheduling and planning of electrical, data and audio-visual upgrades
- Maintain inventory of desktops and laptops and manage requests for new desktop/laptops, including updating and deployment
- Managing allocation of accessories and ergonomic supports
- Maintain and upgrade AV equipment in meeting rooms and common areas

**Information Technology (IT) Generalist Tasks**:

- Oversee the day-to day operations of the IT department
- Analyzing existing Server systems for upgrades, maintenance and improvements
- Manage frontline operations and systems according to best practices ensuring all infrastructure is running at optimal levels
- Determining IT project requirements, developing schedules, delegating tasks to ensure projects are completed on time
- Mentor existing IT team members as needed
- Optimize Server system performance
- Ensure maximum uptime of all server systems by auditing, monitoring, updating patches and logging solutions
- Maintain Infrastructure, network, development, and operations
- Be available for emergency support outside of normal working hours, if necessary
- Lead by example in all areas of work
- Other duties as assigned
