**POSITION**: Medical Office Receptionist

**REPORTS TO**: CanShipMeds Operations Manager

**LOCATION**: ON-SITE POSITION at Hastings Street location (_this is NOT Hydrid and NOT a remote position_)

We seek a dynamic and articulate individual to **work on-site**, providing elite patient service care and liaising with our prescribers to offer Telehealthcare. We are a fast-paced, growing company with a team of fun and fantastic individuals.

**DEAL BREAKERS**:

- Must be trained and have experience in using **Med Access EMR Software by Telus Health**:

- Minimum 1-year experience in a medical office
- Minimum 1 year of general administrative experience

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Phone-based receptionist as the key liaison between prescribers and patients.
- Managing the designated prescriber's telephone line, answering questions or referring inquiries.
- Serves patients by scheduling Telehealth appointments and maintaining records and accounts.
- Coordinator prescriber schedule and maintain up-to-date availability on Med Access.
- Collect patient documents and information required by the prescriber.
- Keeps patient appointment bookings full for prescribers by quickly managing and filling last-minute cancellations and notifying patients of any scheduling delays or prescriber cancellations.
- Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.
- Protects patients’ rights by maintaining the confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial records.
- Maintains operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Reliable and accountable.

**WORK HOURS & BENEFITS**:

- Monday to Friday
- 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
- On-site position (NOT remote, NOT hybrid)
- Extended Benefits program after 90-day probationary period.
- Bonus opportunity at year-end based on job performance, company performance, and length of service in the calendar year.
- Vacation opportunities after 6-months of employment pending approval
