CCW Inc. is a North American industry leader for custom architectural millwork, casework and interior finishes and we are always looking for dynamic individuals to join our growing team.

We provide high quality millwork and interior finishes for retail, commercial, restaurant, hospitality, industrial, and multi-unit residential projects.

**The Role**:
Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Operations Manager position is responsible for overseeing our Production, Engineering, Logistics and Inventory, and Procurement departments. This position plays a pivotal role in developing processes that drive results, especially concerning scheduling, shop floor productivity, resource planning, quality control, and budgeting.

The Operations Manager will harness the energy of the team to support the overall goals and objectives of the business. Improving the efficiency and reliability of operations while driving profitability through the development of a positive and accountable team environment.

**Duties for this position include, but are not limited to**:

- Working closely with the Director of Operations to set and implement policies, procedures, and processes that enable efficient planning and scheduling for shop floor production to maintain full capacity and maximize throughput
- Overseeing our Production, Engineering, Logistics, and Procurement departments and ensuring a high level of collaboration with Estimating, Project Management, and Field Operations departments
- Providing effective leadership, accountability, and strategic direction to the manufacturing and operations team along with recommendations for capital expenditures to align with business vision and strategic growth
- Engaging with a high level of interaction with our Production Manager, Team Leads, Purchasing and Inventory Analyst, and other internal stakeholders to meet production goals and demands
- Focusing on Quality Control initiatives, reviewing and designing efficient manufacturing processes and ensuring continuous improvement goals and objectives are tracked and met annually
- Analyzing production labour requirements/budget allocations; aligning both inventory and material costs to satisfy a “Perfect Release; accommodating project timelines & established critical dates
- Working within our company ERP software system to flag production bottlenecks, manage labour and material project budget groups, and provide weekly reporting
- Effectively managing project costs to achieve or exceed anticipated profitability and ensuring accurate data collection in the company's ERP system
- Establishing and managing vendor relationships with external partners to maximize annual sales/project budgets and profits
- Carrying out performance reviews for direct reports and managing and guiding overall employee performance
- Interacting with sales and estimating team to guide sales opportunities; accommodating a diverse compliment of both casework and custom millwork to maximize manufacturing capacity
- Establishing and championing effective communication, recognition, and accountability within the team to support the company’s positive culture and growth
- Promoting and maintaining a safe work environment through enforcement of organizational safety policies and support of various CCW safety initiatives
- Playing a key role in maximizing employee contribution, productivity, and organizational workflow
- Collaborating with internal partners to establish departmental goals and associated metrics to align with corporate vision
