Responsibilities:
- Prepare sushi dishes according to recipes and customer preferences
- Ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients used in sushi preparation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station and kitchen area
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure safe food handling
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and service
- Assist in training and mentoring junior sushi chefs
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders and answering questions about the menu
**Skills**:
- Proficient in sushi preparation techniques, including rolling, cutting, and plating
- Knowledge of various types of fish and seafood used in sushi
- Strong attention to detail to ensure precise presentation of sushi dishes
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and kitchen staff
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry
- Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate effectively
Note: Prior experience as a sushi chef or in a similar role within the food service industry is preferred.

**Salary**: $16.55-$18.55 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 15 per week
