**Who are We?**

Trim Landscaping is a full-service landscaping company that provides commercial and large-scale high-end residential and landscaping services in Nova Scotia. We are continually growing and are looking to add Concrete Finishers to our team in Bedford, Nova Scotia. We have done many design-build landscape projects like Argyle and Spring Garden streets, Queen’s Marque and Peggy Cove’s Viewing Deck.

**Who are You?**

You are experienced in Concrete and looking to grow and be a part of moving a business forward. You are trustworthy so that you can take on tasks and projects within your team with limited supervision. You are able to solve problems and willing to make a decision even if it’s a mistake so you can grow and learn. You are willing to work outside of your everyday tasks and do what needs to be done to get the job done.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and coordinate concrete projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
- Supervise and lead a team of concrete workers, providing guidance, instruction, and support as needed.
- Plan and schedule project tasks, allocate resources, and monitor progress to ensure project goals are met.
- Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications to effectively execute project plans.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe work environment for the team.
- Conduct regular inspections of work sites to identify and address any issues or risks.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and smooth project execution.
- Assist in training and mentoring new employees, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Maintain accurate project records, including daily progress reports, materials used, and labor hours.

**Qualifications**:

- At least 3 years of experience working with concrete, including formwork, pouring, and finishing.
- Proven experience in a leadership role, with the ability to effectively manage a team and delegate tasks.
- Strong knowledge of concrete construction techniques, materials, and equipment.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and make quick decisions when needed.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

**Schedule**:

- 10-hour shift
- Monday-Friday
