**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Manage Wet Feet (ages 5 - 7) and Optimist Fun (ages 8-12) sailing programs.
- Lead communication with the parents of sailors.
- Oversee water and life-jacket safety.
- Collaborate on the organization and execution of land-based activities that support the development of young sailors.
- Provide supervision during arrival and departure of sailors.
- Collaborate with instructors to ensure smooth operation of programs.
- Perform daily opening and closing duties.
- Help to develop a warm and welcoming learning environment that supports the development of young sailors.

**Requirements**:

- Successful completion of high-school diploma or GED; a diploma or degree is an asset.
- At least 2 years of experience in a role working with children; teaching experience is an asset.
- Standard First Aid with CPRC and AED.
- Adaptability to quickly changing situations or weather conditions.
- Ability to research and develop a comprehensive curriculum.
- Successful completion of a Criminal Record Background Check (company provided).
- Sailing experience or certification preferred but not required.

**Schedule**
- Full-time seasonal position
- Start Date: June 24,2024
- End Date: August 2024
