Trouw Nutrition is hiringan **INVENTORY **ANALYST** to join our team in **St. Marys, ON.** You will be responsible for planning, directing and controlling daily and cyclical inventories to maintain the integrity of physical inventories and systems.

In this hands-on role, you will support the Production Planner and work collaboratively with Production Supervisors to maintain good inventory management practices and ensure customer satisfaction. Among other things, checking the consistency of various reports and entering production information. Excellent communication with production and expedition department. Complete the documentation, update the systems. Responsible for reconciliation of the mill inventory. Act as the link between customer service and the mill for the management of orders and deliveries

**A DAY IN THE LIFE**

The Inventory Analyst has overall responsibility for physical inventories and inventory management in our manufacturing ERP system, coaching production colleagues on receipt of goods. Communicate with the Plant Manager, Production Manager and other departments to ensure the efficiency of operations
- Oversees the process and implement work methods to make inventory, warehousing, and shipping and receiving more efficient.
- Contribute actively to continuous improvement efforts in the achievement of target objectives.
- Fill out inventory reports. Coordinate monthly and year-end stock counts
- Participate to the daily production points and monthly production meeting.
- Perform manufacturing reconciliation and balance accounting inventories in the system;
- Participate in the development and optimization of processes

**COMMUNICATION**
- Establish and disseminate procedures and indicators to minimize inventory discrepancies
- Participate in the daily production meeting with the whole team
- Develop and communicate the inventory management process
- Provide various reports related to inventory management
- Participate in the monthly physical inventory

**EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION**:

- Professional degree in technical administration, GOP (operation management) or equivalent
- Or experience in inventory management with a minimum of 2 years of experience in an industrial environment or the equivalent

**PREFERRED HIRING CRITERIA**:
You are resourceful, have a strong team spirit, have a strong work ethic and can work with mínimal supervision. You will have the opportunity to make changes as needed. Knowledge of the M3 or SAP system will be considered an asset.
- Good communication skills (listening, oral, and written)
- Be able to act as a coach and lead a team
- Have a good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience and knowledge of an ERP system would be an asset or knowledge of a warehouse management software
