Job Title: Category Management Executive

Location: Kingston

JOB PURPOSE
- Support the Channel Development Manager in the delivery and execution of category management across e-commerce, discounters, and convenience to drive long term and sustainable growth across the retailer’s total category.
- Deliver category range recommendations which focus on the optimal assortment supported by clear, unbiased insight and rationale across priority customers
- Deliver key category/customer reporting and ad hoc analysis as required
- Support with internal influencing for right range based on shopper

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Help support the delivery of Category Management across non-traditional channels, including but not limited to Discount Channel, E-commerce & Convenience to set Unilever apart from our competitors
- Proactive analysis and interpretation of multiple customer and shopper data sources
- Leveraging trends / foresight to determine where to prioritize resources for greatest impact
- Identify & drive best proactive processes for E-category management across pureplay & OMNI customers with Unilever Category Management team
- Creation of bespoke customer reports where necessary

- Data analysis (Kantar/Nielsen preferable but not essential)
- Strong presentation and excel skills
- Issue identification - skilled in evaluating opportunities
- High level of curiosity and drive to understand the ‘what’ and ‘why’ and the ‘so what?’

Location

In September 2020, Unilever announced the intention to build a new sustainable campus site in Kingston, London to house the employees who currently work in 100 Victoria Embankment in Blackfriars, Lever House in Kingston and Graze in Richmond. We are creating our own Unilever sustainable, agile work environment, purposefully bringing us together in our own Unilever ecosystem. The campus is due to be completed in early 2025 and will consist of two interconnected buildings, as well as landscaped surrounding areas.
