We are seeking highly motivated civil engineering graduates to join our team of engineers and professionals specializing in geotechnical investigation and consulting services for municipal, residential, commercial, and industrial site development projects in Southern Ontario. Junior Project Managers will train with us and eventually progress as full-pledged project managers/engineers, with their P.Eng. designation in the immediate future. They will:

- Participate in geotechnical field investigation studies, coordinate and/or supervise such site activities as, borehole logging, drilling, testing, soil sampling, laboratory analysis, and other field data gathering tasks.
- Work in a team environment in providing support to other staff of the department

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering. An advanced degree in the field will be preferred.
- Knowledge of the geophysical characteristics of the province of Ontario and the applicable federal and provincial codes, standards and generally accepted practices in geotechnical and foundation engineering;
- Knowledge of slope stability analysis and retaining wall design.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills are required as the incumbents deal with inter-office personnel, clients, government agencies, contractors, and other field personnel.
- Keen interest in foundation engineering and project management, including proposal preparation, technical report writing, proposal pricing, and client development.
- Those with a year’s experience in geotechnical engineering undertakings will have an advantage.

Other requirements:

- Must possess a valid Ontario driver’s licence, a vehicle to drive to job sites, and be willing to travel to various sites within Ontario.
