We are hiring a **Student Engagement Coordinator** for our Brampton Campus.
**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Plan and implement on and off campus events and celebrations;
- Diversify social, educational, and professional development for the Hanson community;
- Work collaboratively with community partners supporting international students and participates in various community events related to international student engagement and services;
- Plan and organize promotional, educational, and social events that leave memorable experiences for students;
- Lead student events, on and off site, virtual - all logistics, coordination, and facilitation in planning;
- Plan, promote, budget, and execute large events (e.g. convocation);
- Develop content for print and online communication channels, for both internal and external communication;
- Ensure the content is informative and appealing, and that key messages align with vital business strategies;
- Develop, implement and manage the campus social media strategy and online presence;
- Define the most important social media KPIs and measure the success of social media campaigns;
- Serve as the organization’s media liaison;
- Scan the media marketplace to keep up-to-date on the latest media trends;
- Provide support for new program launches;
- Keep abreast of the latest social media best practices and technologies and use social media marketing tools such as Hootsuite;
- Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization;
- Communicate with students, industry professionals, and influencers via social media to create a strong network;
- Collaborate with the Admissions and Alumni Coordinator to provide effective and timely communications to students and alumni;
- Identify opportunities to improve students’ experience according to their educational and professional goals;
- Other duties as assigned by the Director, Learner Engagement, or his/her delegation.
- Other Student Services tasks as required;
**Education and Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with a record of professional accomplishment in student services, student engagement, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of exposure in educational management with a proven track record of success.
- Experience sustaining partnerships and collaborations with events providers.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in English.
- Team player with a client-centric mindset and positive attitude.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines.
