**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Operate manual lathes, mills, and other machining equipment to produce parts according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining processes and dimensions.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various machining tasks.
- Perform quality checks using calipers and other measuring instruments to ensure accuracy of machined parts.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and implement lean manufacturing principles.
- Conduct routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist in welding tasks as needed for assembly or repair of components.
- Operate forklifts safely for material handling when required.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience as a Manual Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications.
- Familiarity with HAAS programming is a plus but not mandatory.
- Basic math skills for calculating measurements and tolerances accurately.
- Experience with lean manufacturing practices is preferred.
- Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, and forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
