**RETAIL OPERATIONS COORDINATOR - HOUR PASSION (60%)**

The Retail Operations Coordinator ensures the flow of communication and information within the
Hour Passion retail teams and the market on a daily basis, and analyzes various performance metrics to provide feedback to HP HQ and local brand. The person assuming this role utilizes their knowledge of the Canadian market to identify opportunities for growth and expansion in
Canada. This role leads the Store Management team to meet sales budgets, customer service goals, and Operating and People objectives through execution, coaching and accountability.

**PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE**
- Developing sales and operations strategies to maximize growth potential
- Managing and reviewing P&L statements as well as develop budget and forecast reports
- Overseeing monthly and quarterly assessments and preparing short and long-term financial and managerial reporting
- Working with the corporate HR and Store Management teams on the selection and retention of top talent along with supporting strategic vision or long term succession planning
- Coaching, training and mentoring Store Management team on KPI's i.e. units per transaction, retail per transaction, etc.
- Maintaining an accountability culture through analysis of expectations
- Ensuring a high level of execution of brand and product strategies at store level
- Reviewing and managing inventory levels through identification of appropriate product assortment and pricing structures in collaboration with brand management team
- Partnering with inventory controller to resolve discrepancies in cycle count reports
- Monitoring inventory control processes to ensure prevention of asset loss in conjunction with Loss Prevention and Operations
- Ensuring compliance with HP and Brands’ visual/merchandising directives
- Updating and enforcing operational standards to drive brand consistency
- Resolving escalated customer service issues
- Scheduling work orders for repairs at boutique

Finance
- Completing project sheets to set up new IO’s related to retail projects
- Gathering quotes for retail projects
- Complete project sheets to set up new IO’s related to retail projects
- Pull IO report every month to analysis spending and address any discrepancies with the brand manager and accounting.

**PRESTIGE BRAND COORDINATOR (40%)**
- Processing orders for prestige brands for Canadian retailers
- Managing SKU system set up and availability communication
- Preparing PO and Shipnotes to receive all POS inventory to ensure SAP accuracy
- Analyzing inventory and shippables
- Preparing purchase orders for all marketing vendors and expenses
- Maintaining the Canadian marketing budget for prestige brands on a regular basis and keeping track of all spending
- Coordinating co-op advertising documentation for processing
- Coordinating marketing materials and products for events.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- College Diploma or University Degree
- 2-3 years order processing support experience in a retail or wholesale environment
- Must have strong analytical skills
- Organized and independent with initiative
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Training and presentation skills
- Represents self and situations honestly; understands and maintains confidentiality
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously and operate with flexibility in the presence of shifting priorities and deadlines.
- Strong self motivation, tact, diplomacy and a clear, courteous and professional manner when dealing with the public.
- Must demonstrate effective oral communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with staff inside and outside of the department.
- Experience with SAP is highly desired.
- French Communication skill is an asset.
- Effective team player who is energetic and passionate about our brand and company

**EMPLOYMENT STATUS**
- Salaried, Full-Time, 40-44 hours per week on average. Must maintain open availability to meet the needs of the business and may be required to work more than 44 hours a week, certain holidays and blackout dates. Car and Air Travel may be required.

**WORKING CONDITIONS**

Moderate physical effort is required. This position has a low risk of injury, the position requires lifting, pushing, pulling and holding (up to 35 lbs and above with appropriate support) of boxes and store fixtures, as well as, significant focus when completing reports and materials for presentations.

**Salary**: From $52,000.00 per year
