Are you passionate about football and dedicated to positively impacting the community? The Winnipeg Football Club seeks an experienced and motivated individual to serve as Head Coach for our newly established U14 tackle football team. This team will compete in the Manitoba Minor Football Association. It will be fully funded by the Winnipeg Football Club, removing financial barriers for inner-city children, particularly Indigenous and new Canadians, to participate in football.

**What you will do**:

- Lead all aspects of coaching for the U14 tackle football team, including practices, games, and team management.
- Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance players' skills, knowledge, and understanding of the game.
- Foster a positive and inclusive team environment that promotes sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal growth.
- Work closely with the Winnipeg Football Club and other stakeholders to align coaching strategies with organizational goals and objectives.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to assistant coaches and support staff.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all players at all times.
- Act as a role model for players, demonstrating integrity, respect, and commitment on and off the field.

**Requirements**:
**Must Haves**:

- Strong knowledge of football fundamentals, techniques, and strategies. The ability to coordinate either offence or defence.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire young athletes.
- Experience working with diverse communities and a commitment to promoting inclusivity and diversity in sports.
- Registered for MMFA, Respect in Sport (certified status to the end of the MMFA season), Understanding the Rule of Two, Making Headway in Football, Safe Contact Workshop (current) or Refresher course (if workshop completed before Nov/2019) and all requirements as Head Coach of MMFA.
- Confirmed Satisfactory Background check (since 2022) or Declaration form submitted. If it was completed before 2022, a new background check must be completed.
- Availability to commit to regular practices (3 nights per week and weekend games during the MMFA football season). Understanding you will take the bus with the team for all away games.
- Passion for youth development and a desire to positively impact the community.
