How you’ll make an impact

The Head of Sales, Canada is tasked with driving the success of Xero Canada’s Partner channel and the team that supports it. You are a senior leader who is driven by a passion to deliver, leads by your values, and creates strong relationships built on trust.

In this role, you will own the creation and delivery of our strategy across all sales teams in Canada in alignment with Xero’s global sales strategy.

**What you'll do**:

- End to end ownership and accountability for Xero Canada’s partner sales channel (accountants and bookkeepers)
- Fostering a data-driven, high-performance sales culture with the right balance of inspiration, accountability, and enablement
- Contribute to strategic thought leadership across the global channel community
- Responsible for managing forecast and commitment to achieving goals with accountability to both the Canadian Country Manager as well as global business stakeholders
- Accountable for the performance management, professional skills development, and career progression of the sales team across Canada
- Ownership of national partnerships with Canada’s largest accounting firms
- Oversight of early lifecycle onboarding of new customers to ensure they have a beautiful experience from day one
- Monitoring quality, consistency, and values alignment of all teams and processes
- Collaboration with other region’s sales leadership to share best practices and manage globally-relevant customer relationships with key partners
- Play a key culture role on Team Canada more broadly as one of the most senior leaders in the country

**What you’ll bring with you**:

- Proven people leadership experience. Experience coaching and collaborating, including prior experience managing people managers
- Great team builder and stakeholder manager. An ability to draw the best out of exceptional people and facilitate collaboration across departments
- Customer-obsessed approach. A relentless focus on the customer and their needs
- Strong strategic lens. A proven ability to make data-driven decisions and a track record of successfully implementing strategic choices in your businesses
- Ability to influence and drive sales strategy across all Canadian sales teams
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- SaaS or accounting industry expertise preferred but not required
