**Role Purpose**

As a Pricing Analyst you will play a major role in supporting Metrie’s pricing strategy, providing critical analysis to empower the sales channels. You will help implement new initiatives, working within cross-functional
teams to develop and deliver innovative tools and reporting, bringing continuous value and insights to the business. You will help grow and scale the Pricing function, ensuring Metrie’s pricing strategy remains relevant and continues to achieve optimal price realization.

**Reporting Relationships**:
The Pricing Analyst will report directly to the Director of Pricing, but will have strong ties with business partners, build effective communication with key stakeholders, and work with regional sales leaders to deliver cross-functional projects.

**Key Accountabilities**

The most critical outcomes for this role are to:

- Drive process standardization and alignment of pricing discipline across business platforms in the areas of pricing strategy, segmentation, price changes and related initiatives.
- Assist with statistical pricing models contained within pricing software. Responsibilities include updating, modifying and debugging when necessary.
- Analyze historical, current and future trends and predictors to provide insights associated with pricing.
- Maintenance of pricing related Tableau dashboards including creation of new tools to capture market insights. Support and maintenance of existing tools
- Continually identify and implement key opportunities for improvement.
- Analyze financial impact of price approach in view of overall history as well as profitability of customer.****:

- Research and analyze historical data to develop and maintain pricing models that maximize profit and win probability.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on monthly pricing performance.
- Support the extraction and analysis of data from Price FX across the organization, while collaborating with pricing and sales resources
- Collaborate with sales on developing and implementing competitive price strategies.
- Working within and managing large datasets, competent in data extraction and manipulation_**Key Competencies**

**Q**ualifications**

The education and background experiences desired for this position include:

- 2+ years of Analytical experience
- Proficient in the use of Excel
- Experience with SQL, VBA or a similar language will be advantageous
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent an asset
- Experience with SAP an asset
