**The Opportunity**

We are currently seeking a **Talent Management Student - Spring 2024 **to join our **Talent Management Team**. This is an 8-month fixed term position.

As a Human Resources Co-op Student, you will have the opportunity to further your development by providing day-to-day support for various projects and initiatives within the Talent Management team. From talent acquisition and career & succession planning to leadership development, diversity & inclusion and culture, you will have a holistic and enriching experience like no other. You will also gain a deeper understanding of our company and our sustainable approach to mining via exposure to other Vale operations in Canada and our global headquarters in Brazil. In this position, you will:

- Prepare data/analytics to provide insights into trends and patterns for strategic decision-making using Power BI, Excel and other internal systems
- Responsible for routine reporting on metrics related to DEI and Learning & Development
- Leverage your knowledge of excel and Power BI to create reporting dashboards
- Partner with various stakeholders to gather available data sources to fulfill analytical needs
- Design, develop and implement reporting solutions

**About You**

**Education**:

- Currently enrolled as a student in a Bachelor of Commerce (Co-Op) Program.
- Concentration in Business Analytics or Information System & Information Technology
- Superior verbal, written and analytical communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerBI)
- Strong time management and organization skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Solid interpersonal and facilitation skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
