As part of the Journey 2 Grow My Wealth team, this role will assist in executing the GMW Journey JSS Intel mandate by supporting decision-making and business growth through insights gathered from internal business and market/customer reports.

**In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to**:
**Key Responsibilities of a Business Intelligence Analyst**:Competitive Intelligence**:

- Assess and conduct competitive scans to gather insights for following including (but not limited to):

- Pricing strategy
- Analyze competitor pricing models, discounts, promotional tactics vs. market expectations
- Tech & Innovation stay abreast of emerging tech and innovative products/services that could disrupt the market/create new opportunities
- Product and Service development to glean insights into competitor innovations, customer feedback, emerging market needs for new services
- Market Entry and Expansion moves by competitors to develop strategies to gain market share, including M&A activity
- Develop Competition Profiles and update them on an ongoing basis. Refining value prop
- analyze competitor value prop to create differentiation for our own
- Fulfill ad hoc requests to respond to Crisis Management/Risk mitigation for crisis response from competition and major market changes.

**Reporting & Analysis**:

- Benchmark internal performance against competitors using available metrics or extracting data with SQL when needed.
- Deliver regular and ad-hoc reports on key internal and external business areas.
- Conduct in-depth analysis to uncover actionable insights and provide clear business recommendations.

**Collaboration & Visualization**:

- Gather reporting requirements from stakeholders
- Partner with BI teams to develop dynamic dashboards and reports for effective communication of insights

- 2 to 5 years of experience in market, competitive and internal analysis
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong SQL & Python skills to understand and navigate the complex data environment including use of internal GenAI tools
- Experience with Power BI including writing requirements for and building comprehensive dashboards
