Purpose:

Manage Visual Merchandising execution at the Halo Store, create and implement innovative retail theatre and consistent flawless execution of Global brand standards. Drive sales increases and KPI’s through execution of VM/In Store Communication (ISC) directives.- Assist in driving store profitability by managing the use of Space Management, updating weekly for floor plan and fixture allocation based on product presentation movement. Weekly analysis of Space Management results and creation of action plans to improve KPI’s.- Lead and motivate the Visual Merchandising staff to execute all Global standards and directives.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of exceptional consumer experience tailored to the Brand Halo through ensuring outstanding execution of global brand and retail operational standards as it relates to the designated area of responsibility
- Support a best-in-class environment within retail fleet which provides acceptance, education and awareness on all topics related to diversity, equity and inclusion
- Positively communicates and demonstrates the Brand values, attitude and culture.
- Drives sales and manages execution of merchandise placement.
- Train and develop VM team on all Global standards for consistent flawless execution.
- Develop floor plans/VM plans in concert with merchandising team to optimize sales per square foot and create a compelling consumer Brand journey.
- Ensures all windows and ISC are presented to a high standard including mannequin dressing and positioning, lighting direction, cleanliness, steaming and price communication.
- Lead the execution of all visual merchandising initiatives with planning and implementation guidelines. Drive flawless execution as the cross-functional lead with merchandising, sourcing, store development and store and field operations.
- Track implementation of visual merchandising guidelines and provide feedback to Senior Store Manager, DTC Marketing Team and Director of Merchandising.
- Demonstrates ownership of own stores’ performance by monitoring the allocation of resources and organizes processes to drive profitability in a variety of situations and market conditions.
- Supports and coaches store team to understand ability to increase store profitability through Visual Merchandising.
- Ensure compliance with legal and safety guidelines in overall management of store and associates.
- Assist in ensuring the building and premises is safe, organized and clean manner in accordance with adidas standards.
- Develop seamless communication with other members of the Store Management Team
- Other duties as assigned by Senior Store Manager or DTC Marketing Team
- Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Proven Passion for visual merchandising.
- Ability to use critical thinking and creative ways to solve problems
- Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints
- Ability to make recommendations that effectively resolve problems by using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, and procedures
- Proficient retail knowledge - operational and selling skills.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong ability to collaborate and influence across different levels and departments
- Open to feedback; able to keep composure in stressful situations
- Passion for adidas brand and for sport
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively through multiple lines of communication including verbal & written formats
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 12 kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 34 kg.
- Ability to work a varied schedule including weekends, evenings and statutory holidays. Also able to work extra hours during peak sales periods which include, but are not limited to, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, and Back-to-School.
- Qualifications:

- 1-3 years of fashion retail management experience with a leading global brand
- Experience in managing high level retail image and delivering consumer in-store experience
- Demonstrated leadership experience within retail industry
- English fluent (speaking, reading, writing) and fluency in another language is highly desirable
