AOG Team is looking for a methods agent in the aeronautical sector for a company based in Mirabel. Full-time daytime position Salary over $45/hr depending on experience

Experience in similar positions or in aeronautical companies preferred

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

As part of a team of about fifteen people, your main task will be to work with the Production sector to provide technical support to production operators.

Under the supervision of the Tool Design Office Manager for the G7500 and A220 programs for the Airbus Atlantic Canada site in Mirabel, your responsibility will be to acquire, set up and monitor the maintenance of portable equipment for the production department. Your daily work must be done in compliance with health and safety standards.

**Responsibilities**:
You will mainly, but not limited to:

- Manage all portable tools and hand tools: study of requirements, acquisition, implementation, production start-up, control (certification) and repair or replacement.
- Manage requests from different departments according to productivity needs.
- The tooling methods agent studies the manufacturing elements and determines the processes, operating methods and means
- Analyzes the installations, workstations or storage methods.
- Studied and quantified the tool costs (portable and hand) required for the production department
- He must keep the company's various registers up to date in order to properly control the inventory

as well as the certifications (DSM tools).
- Provides technical assistance to operators and preparers in order to properly identify
- The industrial methods technician develops and maintains monitoring and information materials

(nomenclatures, technical documentation, etc.)
- Works in a field: process methods, manufacturing workshop methods, product methods,

quality methods, maintenance methods, industrial and logistics management, Industrialization,
- The industrial methods technician manufactures or adjusts tools and describes them in the form of diagrams, plans, specifications
- Checks the conformity of tools, production machines or carries out fine-tuning
- Designs prototypes or manufacturing tools in preparation for production
- Manages industrial installations or transfers (dismantling, assembly of production

means, production lines, etc.)
- The tooling methods technician chooses suppliers/service providers, writes specifications

for acquisitions. -He is responsible for the acquisition, installation and maintenance of portable tools via the service provider in place at Airbus Atlantique.

Skills sought
- You have a college diploma or any other relevant diploma
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in methods or tools
- Experience in the aeronautics sector and in support of medium-series production
- Knowledge of assembly processes (key characteristics of simple or complex assembly tools, capability analysis tools, etc.)
- Know how to read and interpret technical drawings
- Know how to use and interpret aeronautical standards
- Know how to create a manufacturing range and/or interpret it
- Master the principles of tolerancing and dimension chain
- Knowledge of elementary parts would be a plus
- Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office, Catia V5

Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
