**Reports To**:Controller

**Key Result Areas**:

- Customer requests and issues are addressed and completed within 24 hours
- Collection calls are performed twice a month based on priority
- Month end procedures are completed before statements are sent to customers

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Maintain excel spreadsheets for collections, bill payments and others as necessary
- Process credit card payments
- Maintain existing customer accounts and set up new customer accounts in Business Central
- Assist with customer reference inquiries as required
- Monitor and review sales invoices and customer records to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Ensure customer accounts and transactions are compliant with provincial and federal tax requirements
- Educate and inform team members of proper procedures as required
- Communicate effectively and professionally with customers and colleagues company wide
- Other accounts receivable related tasks or projects as required

**Competencies**:

- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Accounts receivable experience is preferred
- Ability to work with and learn various Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Business Central)
- Effective and professional English verbal and written communication skills
- Self-driven, results-oriented, and decisive with a positive outlook and a clear focus on efficiency
- Excellent time management skills and a team player
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- An A-player who cares about our company, community, colleagues, customers, and themselves
- Shows drive, humility, integrity, reliability and is a team player
