Are you ready to be a part of something bigger? At EV Logistics, our people create our success EV Logistics provides distribution services for one of Western Canada's largest grocery retailers and we're looking for a Claims and Benefits Administrator to join the Human Resources Team.

The core responsibility for this individual will be managing LOA and WorkSafe Claims, along with our Benefits Program. There will also be HRIS and Payroll support needed. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, who is looking for a good challenge, and who is dedicated to creating and developing superior relationships with our team members.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Claims Administration: Work collaboratively with team members, operations, and health and safety to effectively manage claims and ensure timely processing.
- Return-to-Work Program: Coordinate with health and safety, Work Safe, and medical therapists to facilitate a safe return to work for employees.
- Benefits Program Communication: Consistently communicate the benefits program throughout the organization and provide expert support to employees with claims or benefit-related issues.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the HR department and cross-functional teams to support organizational goals and projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Post-secondary education in Human Resources or Business Administration is an asset;
- Experience in claims management, employee benefits, or a similar role is an asset.
- Familiarity with human resources systems (Oracle and Kronos is an asset) and strong knowledge of personal computers and related software (MS Word, Excel, etc.) is desired.
- Reliable Transportation is essential - there is no public transportation to the facility

- Produces and maintains high level, accurate reports, presentations, proposals, or other documents
- Requires continuous use of technical and business vocabulary and a detailed knowledge of company operations, organizational procedures, and personnel
- Coordinates high level meetings with DHL Supply Chain associates and/or visiting HR leaders
- Responds to telephone calls and mail inquiries in an expeditious and courteous manner
- Prepares and distributes correspondence accurately and timely
- Maintains filing system including items that are confidential
- Enter and maintain data in HRMS system
- Serves as central communication point
- Coordinates travel arrangements
- Operate office equipment including fax, copiers, printers, binding machines
- Coordinate cyclical processes and identify opportunities for process improvements
- Work collaboratively with the shared services functions
- Provide support to field HR on standard shared services programs
- Coordinate HR services assigned to the position

**Required Education and Experience**
- 3 years related experience, required
