**About the role**:
The Individual Insurance and Wealth business unit represents close to 30 per cent of all Sun Life Financial global revenue and more than 50 per cent of Canadian earnings. We’re a top provider of life, health and wealth products in the Canadian marketplace.

**What will you do?**
- Coordinate all events for the regions including researching the venue, booking arrangements (food and seating), sending invitations, RSVP lists, presentation materials and managing event budgets
- Coordinate team meetings, events and provide administrative support for the RVP's and his team of Directors across different locations
- Liaise with different stakeholders, including Compliance, Cash Management, IT, Marketing, Product, the Continuing Education Development team and HR to ensure that all operational processes and control standards are followed
- Onboarding and off-boarding procedure to create a smooth transition for all new employees and departing employees
- Collaborate with internal and external accounts payable teams for vendor maintenance and to issue and process cheques for donations, sponsorships, and other events
- Assist in editing presentation decks, surveys, web pages, and other forms of digital media for internal use
- Manage corporate visa for VP, ensuring that policies and budgets are met
- Assist in booking and optimizing business travel itineraries for VP, and others as necessary
- Maintain record of and take notes for critical business meetings with internal partners

**What you need to succeed?**
- Post-secondary education
- 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar position
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent organizational skills with an ability to multi-task
- Strong writing and verbal communications skills
- Ability to work well within a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Establish priorities, meet deadlines while negotiating unpredictable emerging needs, and have a high degree of flexibility and adaptability as necessary
- Affinity for working independently, taking initiative, and achieving established goals
