As part of the CAD (Computer Aided Design) Services Team, the CAD Technician is responsible to provide CAD and document control support to all aspects of engineering and technical documentation for all divisions across NB Power.

**Key Responsibilities include**:

- Prioritize, schedule & estimate, lead/participate in the creation/modification and quality assurance (checking) of engineering and technical drawings for all Divisions in a timely and accurate manner.
- Educate and assist internal and external customers to ensure compliance with Corporate and Divisional engineering, technical and CAD standards, processes & procedures.
- Interact and coordinate with all levels of the organization, contractors, external agencies and team members.
- Technologist or Technician Certification - Civil Discipline (NBCC or an Accredited Engineering Technology School).
- A valid Class 5 Driver's License.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Microstation and/or AutoCad.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil modeling, processing/surveying data.

An equivalent combination of training and experience will be considered. Subject to competition response, the minimum qualifications may be modified.

An Eligibility List generated from this competition may be used to fill future vacancies at the same level within a period of up to 12 months.
