**Purpose of the Position**

The MMIS Performance Analyst collects, analyzes, documents asset management software derived data and communicates the information internally to both local Alstom management and to client. The Performance Analyst conducts root-cause analysis, identifies process gaps and opportunities to achieve best practices, drafts recommendations for management including data visualizations, and promotes achievement of asset management performance results. The Performance Analyst facilitates asset management plan development and interacts regularly with management to inform and build internal and external performance measurement reporting. The MMIS Performance Analyst will be responsible for the development and the maintenance of the MMIS system. The main objectives of this role will be around three (3) main pillars: MMIS data integrity, customer interface management and training for end users of the MMIS along with ongoing support.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Collects, analyzes, documents, and prepares internal and client reports on performance measures to evaluate how effectively Alstom is meeting schedule maintenance targets and asset management goals and objectives.
- Analyzes KPIs not performing at target to discover and document root-cause and applicable business processes impacted.
- Act as the Key User between ALSTOM and our Customer, in terms of MMIS and related customer interfaces.
- Support local business processes related to the MMIS, which are outside of the customer interfaces.
- Manage master data objects in the MMIS and continuously ensure data integrity.
- Responsible for error monitoring and handling of MMIS and related customer interfaces.
- Provide ongoing training to Alstom end users for the MMIS and customer interfaces. Manage all documentation and training related to the MMIS and customer interfaces.
- Submit service requests on behalf of end users for MMIS account management.
- Incident management with escalation, as needed, to resolve MMIS issues that may arise.
- Manage system-required planned and unplanned outages, and prepare for degraded mode activities as needed when the MMIS is unavailable.
- Use business automation tools within and outside of the MMIS to facilitate uploads of larger data sets.
- Prepares and communicates performance analysis results and recommendations to management utilizing the appropriate mix of generated reports, tables, graphs, PowerPoint presentations, and other techniques to support audience understanding.
- Conducts data quality checks to retain Alstom’s credibility and enable management to have accurate data to resolve maintenance operations problems, maximize service reliability, and minimize costs.
- Leads efforts to mitigate data quality risks by improving data collection processes.
- Communicates with management, employees and the client to assist in the development and enhancement of performance measures. Shares methods and results to create organizational learning.

- Education
- College diploma in computer or data science, or a related field.
- Relevant Experience Required
- Specialized or Cross-Functional Knowledge / Relevant Experience Required by the Position/Role
- Experience in the passenger rail transit / transportation industry would be considered as an asset.
