**About Us**:
Our team is at the forefront of promoting the Flood Prevention Rebate Program in partnership with the City of Markham. This vital initiative supports homeowners in undertaking necessary upgrades to their plumbing systems to mitigate the risk of basement flooding. With the City of Markham's significant investment in sewer system improvements, our goal is to facilitate homeowners in accessing financial support for essential improvements. These improvements include installing backwater valves, disconnecting weeping tiles and installing sump pumps, as well as relining and repairing sanitary and storm laterals.

**Responsibilities**:
**For Sales Agents**:

- Visit homeowners door-to-door to inform them about the Flood Prevention Rebate Program and its benefits.
- Detail the protective plumbing measures eligible for rebates and their importance in flood prevention.
- Assist in understanding the significance of these plumbing upgrades in safeguarding their homes against flooding.

**For Team Leaders**:

- Oversee a team of door-to-door sales agents, ensuring effective outreach and engagement with homeowners.
- Provide training and mentorship to agents, equipping them with essential knowledge and skills.
- Set performance targets and monitor team progress to meet program objectives.
- Liaise with city officials and program administrators for updates and accurate information dissemination.
- Address complex queries from homeowners and resolve any issues encountered by the team.

**Requirements**:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with the community.
- Willingness to learn and accurately present detailed information about the Flood Prevention Rebate Program.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Prior experience in sales or customer service is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Leadership roles require proven experience in managing teams.
- A genuine interest in contributing positively to community safety and well-being.
