Your responsibilities include

- Develop content and materials for public reporting and events, such as the Annual Public Meeting
- Contribute to the development of the CIB’s climate change reporting consistent with the CIB’s priorities and in the context of government goals
- Develop strategic summaries, dashboards, infographics and reports
- Provide strategic advice to CIB leadership linked to planning and reporting, and opportunities for continuous improvement
- Develop and present briefing notes and presentations to CIB senior management team members
- Collaborate and build relationships with colleagues across CIB and with counterparts in government including Infrastructure Canada through direct dialogue and participation in working groups and committees
- Manage and coordinate engagement with government counterparts related to corporate products, planning and reporting and investments, exercising judgment and providing advice to ensure a strong relationship
- Respond to and manage information and reporting requests from Infrastructure Canada and other government departments
- Understand and take action to ensure that the CIB pursues best practices and meets requirements based on government planning and reporting frameworks, such as those established by the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat
- Facilitate and educate CIB colleagues on best practices in planning and reporting in the Crown corporation context, to ensure that CIB meets its obligations
- Contribute to a team dynamic and engaging work environment
- Ad Hoc projects and responsibilities related to a growing department and function

The ideal profile
- 8+ years experience in public administration, public policy, business or a related field that is relevant to the CIB’s mandate as a Crown corporation
- Graduate level degree in public administration, public policy, or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure, finance and government policy and issues
- Knowledge of government and Crown corporations
- Excellent collaboration, writing and presentation skills
- An ability to proactively plan, prioritize and meet urgent and competing deadlines for multiple projects
