- As a Scheduler, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient and accurate shift scheduling and real time staffing. You will optimize staff resources to meet operational baselines while maintaining adherence to service level requirements. Primary duties include:

- Monitor and review staffing levels in staffing software, evaluate and take action to ensure that mandatory operational baselines are met.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry into staffing software to reflect all employee work assignments, shift times/hours and duties during their shifts.
- Cover staffing for short notice absence, secondments, wellness, training assignments and staff deployment for special events.
- Manage and update system data including employee profiles, job status, specialities and assignments, and contact information.
- Manage authority levels and login policies for system users; create new rules, shifts and work codes within the system.
- Action and verify accurate and timely data entry.
- Audit system to ensure accurate scheduling and pay coding; verify accuracy with Payroll and resolve any discrepancies.

**Qualifications**
- A completed 1 year certificate in Business Administration or a related area and at least 3 years of relevant experience is required.
- Working knowledge of computerized scheduling software systems (for example UKG TeleStaff, InTime) is preferred.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- A level of familiarity working with contractual language, interpretation of this language, analytical ability to interpret statistics and make recommendations from the information gathered.
- A strong background in administrative processes and procedures and the ability to deal effectively with conflict and think creatively to resolve issues while respecting the intent of contract or policy provisions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to work without direct supervision in a dynamically changing environment.
