**Role Summary**:
Responsible for maintenance and upkeep of the organization's buildings including but not limited to security, maintenance and janitorial services. Ensuring that legal requirements and health and safety standards are met at all times while meeting the needs of the organisation and its employees. The Facilities Supervisor essentially looks after all of the services that help the business to do its work and operates across different business functions, working on both a strategic and operational level.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Hands on ability to perform work i.e. basic electrical, plumbing, mechanical, heating air conditioning. Coordinate plans with contractors, suppliers support groups for projects including pricing,timelines layouts,justifications. Ensures Garbage,Recycling Programs,seasonal maintenance of building,landscape,snow removal are effective. Improve efficiency,cost effectiveness i.e. Energy consumption. Responsible for Energy Program. Responsible to maintain, initiate changes to meet local code and federal legal compliance. Solid knowledge of Building,Fire,Safety Codes, OSHA/Environmental Regulations. Champion preventive,predictive building maintenance. Suggest improvement on the pm program as to frequency,procedure based on collected data. Ensure building grounds are organized. Adhere to 5s. Ensure that all facilities utilities are in good working condition at all times. Update,maintain electrical,mechanical drawing database. Support HSE reviews and audits. Support IATF audits, requirements and implementation of changes. Plan, initiate and manage all facility projects i.e. construction or renovation projects from concept to finalization. Obtain multiple quotes for any improvements or capital projects. Manage budget. Oversee all facility contractors and employees

**Key Qualifications/Requirements**:

- Grade twelve diploma or equivalent
- Technical education or diploma i.e.mechanical, electrical or construction
- Min 5 years leadership experience in construction / building maintenance
- Degree or diploma in construction, building maintenance or civil engineering an asset
- Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices
- Able to read facility drawings and schematics
- Must have good working knowledge and understanding of building systems and building codes, including security systems, overhead doors, HVAC and fire detection and suppression systems
- Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, employees, suppliers, contractors and customers
- Able to prepare, read and interpret written reports, correspondence, instructions, procedures and guidelines.
- Computer literate in an MS Windows environment (Excel, Word and Powerpoint)
