**About the Role**: The Manager, Field Marketing is responsible for driving Partake’s growth through community building and retail penetration in key markets. This position will serve an important role linking consumers’ connections to the Partake brand through to the shelf. You will be responsible for creating an activation strategy that is tailored to your region and will act as the local marketing expert. The Manager, Field Marketing will join our growing company and work across multiple teams across the organization. You will influence local growth opportunities and be a partner with the sales team as well as conduit between the field and marketing. You will be responsible for uncovering growth opportunities for Partake that are specific to your geography and bring them forward as opportunities to the wider team.
**This is a 5 month contract position**.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Approximately 60% of time dedicated to sales driving activities with a focus on retail, with on premise secondary
- Approximately 40% of time dedicated to marketing activation activities with a focus on events, sampling, community building and product donations/sponsorships
- Support the regional sales team and their customer network
- Act as an ambassador for Partake and focus on growing consumer and customer connections to the brand through uncovering regionalized sampling, distribution, and partnership opportunities
- Work independently acting as an on-the-ground regional expert and opportunity driver
- Interface with customers, consumers, and partners on an ongoing basis
- Collaborate with the Partake cross functional team and manage community partners and part-time Brand Ambassadors to build out the brand’s local footprint via eventing and brand presence
- Plan and execute a calendar of sampling events in a variety of channels (on premise, in-store, guerilla and sponsorships)
- Support sales team with in-store merchandising needs to create displays or monitor price, placement
- Collaborate with sales and customers to plan and execute retail samplings
- Responsible for a call frequency on existing or new retail accounts to grow distribution and relationships
- Participate in promotions outside of core hours if necessary (evenings and weekends)

**Experience/Qualifications**:

- Post Graduate Degree required (Marketing preferred)
- 3+ years in marketing/experiential marketing/sales; preference for CPG and/or beverage/beer experience
- Experience working independently either through entrepreneurial pursuits or successfully without close supervision
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to sell, negotiate and act as an ambassador for the brand with both customers and consumers
- An ambitious self-starter with a competitive spririt who is hungry for achieving results and growing a brand and business from the ground up
- Motivated and organized with the ability to set priorities and have great attention to detail
- Proactive mindset and get-it-done attitude with the openness to test and learn and willingness to optimize and pivot when necessary
- Team-oriented with demonstrated ability to interface with a wide variety of consumers, internal teams and customers
- Willingness to travel within the priority geographies
- Previous start-up experience is highly desirable
- Understanding and passion of Non-Alcoholic space is preferable
- Able to work flexible hours and adjust schedule according to opportunities
- Hold a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and have access to a personal vehicle (Partake will reimburse for business mileage)
