Reception / Customer Support - Summer Students

Gardenzilla is seeking a proactive and organized individual to join our team in a full time summer position doing reception for our landscape company. The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for our clients, vendors, and visitors, and will play a crucial role in maintaining smooth office operations.

This is an in-office role for someone who enjoys working collaboratively and in person. **ONLY APPLICATIONS WITH A COVER LETTER WILL BE CONSIDERED.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Respond promptly and courteously to inquiries, redirecting calls and messages as necessary.
- Provide accurate information about our services, scheduling, and company policies.

**Office Presence**:

- Maintain office hours from Monday through Friday.
- Help ensure the office area is tidy and presentable.
- Administrative Support:

- Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation.
- Coordinate office supplies and equipment maintenance.
- Help with scheduling appointments and managing calendars.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a customer service or reception role is highly preferred.
- Typing speed is at least 60 words per minute.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in using office software, such as Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
- Positive attitude with a genuine desire to assist and support customers.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling customer inquiries and records.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
- Must have a valid G or G2 driver's license.
