We seek a qualified part-time teaching faculty member to join the School of Business and Management Bachelor of Management program.

**Course Summary**:
**BSM 304 Organizational Communications**

This course covers internal and external communication in the contemporary evolving organization. Students will assess their management communication style and identify areas for improvement. Topics include interpersonal and small group dynamics, the use of communications technology, motivation, conflict resolution, and communicating with diverse audiences.

Part-time Teaching Faculty at City University of Seattle has **three key responsibilities**:

**Requirements**:
**Minimum Qualifications**:

- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below represent the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. - PhD in communications or management or related fields. A Master's degree in communications or business administration will also be considered.
- Minimum of five years of professional experience in communications or management.
- Minimum of three years of post-secondary teaching experience.
- Skills in addressing student academic-related issues and concerns in support of retention and student success.
- Culturally competent to serve a diverse student and faculty body.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented system and deal effectively with professional staff, faculty, and culturally diverse students.
- Ability to present a professional image for the school and City University of Seattle.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and learning management systems in support of quality teaching and learning.

**Salary Information**:
The Part-time Teaching Faculty salary is based on course level and the number of course credits.
