**Uxbridge Youth Centre - Summer Program Coordinator**

The Uxbridge Youth Centre is a drop-in centre where youth ages 11+ are offered a safe and
supervised space to hang out and enjoy fun daily programs after school and throughout the
summer.

This full time, fixed term contract position runs 13 weeks beginning** **June 5, 2023 and ending
September 1, 2023. Hours required are 12pm to 7pm, Monday through Friday and pays $15.50/hr.

Reporting directly to the Program Facilitator, the Program Coordinator will be responsible for
running fun summer programs for youth ages 11+. Duties performed by this student may
include, but are not limited to, researching program ideas, running summer programs, working
within a budget, community outreach, and social media work.

This is a summer position for students with the ability and reliably to commute/relocate to
Uxbridge, ON L9P 1K4 before starting work (preferred). Due to insurance restrictions, applicants
must be 18 years of age or older. Criminal Background Check including vulnerable sector
screening is required (can be obtained after interview).
