**Crew Lead - Mitigation Technician**
- Water restoration and mold remediation lead technician responsible for on-site inspection, containment, water extraction, equipment set up, removal of damaged building materials such as flooring, drywall, vapour barrier, insulation, casing and trim work, cabinetry, other building materials and personal contents at both residential and commercial losses.
- Equipment monitoring, moisture readings and preparing reports.
- Proper use of PPE and job-site safety must be observed and supervised with crew members.
- Other duties will include work on restoration construction projects, from demolition to framing, insulation, vapour barrier, drywall, painting, flooring and finishing work.
- Maintaining a clean job site and prepping for work, as will as loading, unloading and transporting construction materials to and from the job site.
- Garbage and debris removal, and post construction clean-up.
- Employees are trained to work safely with a variety of tools and equipment; hand and power tools, drying equipment, extraction and cleaning equipment and safe use of the required chemicals.

This position will take place in a variety of Residential, Commercial and Industrial environments.

**Education**:
No degree, certificate or diploma required

**Experience**
Experience in the water restoration field an asset

**Own Tools/Equipment**
Steel-toed safety boots

**Security and Safety**
Criminal record check

Driving record check (abstract) required

Expected hours: 35 - 44 per week
