As the Financial Planning Analyst, you will support the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts by working with key stakeholders to gather inputs needed to develop/revise the budget/forecasts accordingly. You will support the completion of monthly/quarterly management reporting (including commentaries and presentations), maintain and prepare the corporate allocations model, and prepare in depth analysis to help support business decisions. Additionally, you will maintain FCT chart of accounts and planning and reporting system, ensuring data and reports, are accurate and updated as the business changes.

HERE’S HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE:

- Support the delivery of FCT’s detailed annual budget and quarterly forecast cycles, working with key stakeholders, to gather and analyze key inputs and explain variances to actuals.
- Prepare financial presentations and reports for various levels of leadership such as Executives, CFO and Directors with the ability to highlight the most relevant and important findings.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis and requests from different levels across the organization, including but not limited to expense analysis, financial process requirements.
- Identify, initiate, and support process improvements by critically assessing processes, thinking differently, and leveraging technology.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

- 1-2 years financial analysis experience in a complex environment preferably in FPA
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business required, CPA/CFA or working towards, considered an asset
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Power Point proficiency. Experience with Oracle EPM or Hyperion Planning an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and proven track record to build trusting relationships
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Time management and self-management skills
- Proven ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment with numerous competing priorities and tight deadlines
- Proven and demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
