Job Summary:
Unique Contract Interiors is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. The Accounts Receivable Clerk will be responsible for managing and processing all accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments and alone.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Create & submit invoices to clients
- Accounts Receivable (A/R) collections in a timely & organized manner
- Processing of payments (i.e. Debit/Credit machine, cheques, cash, EFT, Wire Transfer, bank deposits)
- Date entries into excel programs and Sage 50 accounting software
- Entering employee hours for job costing and payroll purposes
- Work in Progress (WIP) updates
- Coordination of monthly and annual inventory
- Coding Accounts Payable (A/P) invoices to the correct projects and GL so they match corresponding Purchase Orders
- Creating and submitting maintenance manuals for projects
- Prepare reports for management and accountants as required
- Commissioner for Oaths
- Track company vehicle fleet for maintenance
- Handle and manage Unique's benefits as required (Blue Cross)
- Updating procedural manuals as required
- Gather account information from suppliers for Cash Management Online (CMO)
- Other duties and responsibilities may be given based on performance and abilities

Qualifications:

- Post secondary schooling with experience in commerce or accounting an asset.
- Ability to work solo or as a team
- Administration and customer service experience
- Sage 50 Simply Accounting experience an asset
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License (SGI Drivers Abstract required)
- Ability to communicate with clients and colleagues
- Reliable, dependable, and hard working
- Must be able to read, write, and understand English
