Group Services Labourer

**GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Operate forklift, overhead crane, loader, telehandler, or other equipment to load/unload, transport, and store goods
- Operate company vehicles, including 1-ton trucks and trailers (e.g. gooseneck, flatbeds, etc.)
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures regarding shipping and receiving to provide back up assistance to the warehouse
- Assist in Outside Sales department with delivery/pick up of:

- Rental equipment
- New equipment sales
- Other delivery/pick up, as assigned
- Assist in intercompany projects requiring additional personnel resources or support
- Assist with general facilities maintenance
- Assist with cleaning, maintaining, and repairing machinery, equipment, and tools, as required
- Other duties and tasks as assigned

**Basic Requirements**:

- Ability to commence full-time (40 hours/week) work from the beginning of May until the end of August
- Class 5 driving license required; Class 1A,3, 5 with G endorsement driving license preferred
- Experience is towing trailers in town would be beneficial but not required
- 2 years experience in a construction related role would be beneficial but not required
- Ability to understand and follow directions
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to communicate clearly
- Ability to handle competing priorities simultaneously
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to work well alone or in a team setting
- Possess a positive and professional attitude, set a high standard, and convey professionalism at all times

Note: The **Group Services General Labourer - Summer Student** position** **is deemed a safety-sensitive position and applicant must successfully complete a pre-employment drug & alcohol test as a condition of employment. This position will require work boots that meet the minimum position standards.

- Any training certification or tickets
