You are great at:

- Work with planners, profit center operations primes, and senior/executive management to generate, analyze, review, and report the Plan;
- On a monthly basis, compile, analyze, and report Actuals versus Plan and Prior Year, within the prescribed timelines.
- Perform more comprehensive and detailed research and analysis, where required or requested.
- Work with other members of the Planning & Analysis team on planning and reporting activities for other sections of the Income Statement and Balance Sheet.
- Assist with administration, maintenance, and enhancement of one or more of the monthly Planning & Analysis reporting processes (FiPA, GILA, OPA, Production Metrics), including development of data compilation and transformations for new information or adjustments, modification of existing reports, and development of new reports.
- Work with other members of the team and end users in transitioning of the Planning & Reporting processes to the company’s Business Intelligence environment, including requirements definition and User Acceptance testing.
- Contribute to the team’s ongoing effort to continuously improve process efficiency and quality and timeliness of information and analysis.
- Support other business initiatives as required.

You Have:

- Accounting, Financial Management, Economics or Business degree or designation.
- Insurance industry experience or familiarity with the financial services regulatory environment is an asset.
- Motivated, detail-oriented, team player.
- An attitude of continuous improvement.
- Willingness and ability to operate effectively beyond one’s current spectrum of expertise or experience.
- Process/project management experience and knowledge.
- Ability to incorporate new technologies into work flows.
- Strong technical skills, with substantial knowledge of and experience with MS Excel, and exposure to MS Access.
