**JOB SUMMARY**

As a Sustainability Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting our sustainability initiatives and ensuring that our construction projects are conducted in an environmentally responsible manner.

**OBJECTIVES and RESPONSIBILITIES***
- Conducting research on sustainable construction practices and materials
- Assisting in the development of sustainability plans and processes for our construction projects
- Assisting in emissions data tracking
- Assisting in data collection and information for annual impact report
- Reporting on key sustainability metrics, such as energy consumption and waste reduction
- Coordinating with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure sustainability goals are being met.
- Educating and engaging staff on sustainable practices and initiatives
- Identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement in our sustainability practices***

**REQUIRED SKILLS and PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in sustainability, environmental studies, renewable energy, or a related field
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Knowledge of sustainable construction practices and industry trends is an asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with PowerBI is considered an asset.
- Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing including marijuana.
- Must be fit-for-duty.
- Able to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Must be immediately eligible/able to work in Canada.

Working Condition: this position will work primarily from the head office in Sherwood Park.***
