**Location**: We are seeking a **Catering Server **for the **Canada Life Centre in Winnipeg Manitoba**.

Canada Life Centre is an indoor sports arena and entertainment venue in downtown Winnipeg. The arena is the home of the Winnipeg Jets of the National Hockey League and the Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League.

Canada Life Centre was designed with the fan in mind. Every seat, every sightline, every concession area and every full-colour video display has been engineered to provide the ultimate fan experience. **Principal Function**:
The Catering Server position exists in Sodexo Live venues of varied sizes and within varied lines of business, such as Sports Stadiums, Entertainment Arenas, Convention Centers and Universities. They are responsible for the receiving, unloading, storing and distributing of food product, retail merchandise and other supplies, while maintaining a neat and organized work environment.

**Essential Responsibilities**:

- Answer any food and/or beverage related questions.
- Fill orders for non-alcoholic beverages as required.
- Relay specific food and/or beverage requirements to the preparation areas.
- Serve food and beverage items to guests in a timely manner making sure that food is served at the proper temperatures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
- Accurately complete paperwork for each delivery.
- Perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required from time to time.

**Qualifications/Skills**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and effectively implement written and verbal instructions.
- Strong team orientation and ability to work with a variety of departments to accomplish assigned tasks.
- Ability to work well independently.
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations, to include addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
- Smart Choices certified.
- Scheduling flexibility to meet operational needs.

**Other Requirements**:

- Hours may be extended or irregular to include nights, weekends and holidays.
