- Job brief_
Our company is looking for a Warehouse Cooler Supervisor, the successful job holder should have strong organizational skills, interpersonal skills, computer skills, and training experience, this role is responsible for proper product flow across production activities
- Responsibilities_
- Regulating product movement into and out of production room with WMS scanning
- WMS labeling coming out of production room and Product Palletizing out of production room
- Schedule Runners for Production operations based on planning team’s input for 2 shifts(Morning& Afternoon) while monitoring hours on clocking system
- Ensuring FIFO is being followed and daily monitoring of bags and containers.
- Daily cooler walk checking for FIFO, RMA’s and pallet damage.
- Attending daily huddles, updating departments to what is going on that day.
- Attending weekly ops meeting with other department heads.
- Work with WMS Task force team to implement processes and ensure employees are following it
- Overseeing and instructing employees of daily tasks while delegating to lead hands for followup on order picking for production
- Product Staging: Work with production lines for preparation of product skids for timely raw input and output
- Provide guidance to team for proper WMS practices and keeping the coolers organized
- Willingness to get involved and help out team where required.
- Conveying to employees all pertinent information from buyers, plant manager and other departments.
- Job Terms_
- Job Type: Permanent Full-time,
- Probationary Period: 3-months or 480 hours, whichever longer
- Work Location: 2501-A Stanfield Rd, Mississauga ON, L4Y 1R6
- Shift Requirement: 5 Days - Sunday - Friday. Hours to vary based on production needs. Typical shift will be Sunday - Thursday during the day
- Compensation: TBD
- Benefits: Group Benefits entitlement upon completion of probation time
- Qualifications_
- Supply Chain Management degree or 1-3 years’ experience
- 2+ years in inventory or WMS as an asset
- Strong computer & software skills
- Experience in distribution, 3PL, manufacturing environment
- 2+ Years power rider/forklift experience,
- Food Manufacturing experience is an asset
